Studies show that a passionate teacher is the best predictor of students’ success as future adults. We strongly believe that passionate teachers change lives. They change paths. They build a better future for all of us.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Unfortunately, not all children in Romania have the chance to meet such a teacher. There are thousands of empty school placements. The vast majority of them are in challenging communities. Who takes care of the children there? What happens to their dreams? We wonder how much potential we all and the entire country are not fulfilling because of inequality in education – a phenomenon that affects us and the world.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Ambele fete \u021bineau cu greu creionul \u00een m\u00e2n\u0103, iar atunci, Bianca- profesoara lor Teach- \u0219i-a dat seama c\u0103 e important s\u0103 le \u00eenve\u021be s\u0103 fac\u0103 bastona\u0219e, liniu\u021be. \u00cen semestrul al doilea, le-a cump\u0103rat haine, \u00eenc\u0103l\u021b\u0103minte \u0219i preg\u0103tea zilnic c\u00e2teva pache\u021bele \u00een plus pentru ca to\u021bi copiii s\u0103 poat\u0103 veni la orele fizice. De atunci, Maria \u0219i Patricia au venit constant la \u0219coal\u0103. Acum jum\u0103tate de an, Bogdan avea dificult\u0103\u021bi \u00een a recunoa\u0219te toate literele alfabetului, nu \u0219tia s\u0103 scrie \u0219i nici s\u0103 citeasc\u0103 cursiv. Bogdan nu are nicio cerin\u021b\u0103 special\u0103 de \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare, nici disgrafie, nici dislexie, pur \u0219i simplu a ratat momentul \u00een care ar fi trebuit s\u0103 \u00eenve\u021be s\u0103 scrie \u0219i s\u0103 citeasc\u0103. Profesorul lui de biologie, Andrei de la Teach for Romania, \u0219i-a dat seama \u00eentr-o zi c\u0103 Bogdan nu \u0219tie s\u0103 citeasc\u0103. L-a \u00eentrebat dac\u0103 nu ar vrea s\u0103 r\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103 dup\u0103 ore s\u0103 lucreze \u00eempreun\u0103, iar r\u0103spunsul a fost afirmativ, Au construit \u00eempreun\u0103 un plan de lucru, s-au v\u0103zut cu regularitate \u0219i au exersat cititul \u0219i scrisul. \u00cen iulie, Andrei a facut \u0219i o \u0219coal\u0103 de var\u0103 la care Bogdan ajungea primul \u00een cele mai multe zile. Nicolas are aproape 10 ani \u0219i este \u00een clasa a 3-a. Mai are \u00eenc\u0103 10 fra\u021bi \u0219i surori \u0219i este primul din familia sa care a \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat s\u0103 scrie \u0219i s\u0103 citeasc\u0103. Este m\u00e2ndria \u00eentregii familii, un copil ambi\u021bios \u0219i con\u0219tiincios, c\u0103ruia \u00eei place tare mult la \u0219coala. Nu \u00eei lipse\u0219te nici sus\u021binerea familiei, care \u00een\u021belege c\u00e2t de important e s\u0103-i ofere copilului un viitor. De altfel, are mare noroc cu \u201cdoamna\u201d Diana, \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103toare Teach for Romania, care \u00eei este al\u0103turi \u00eenc\u0103 din clasa 1. Poate nu cite\u0219te la fel de bine ca cei mai buni din clas\u0103, dar progreseaz\u0103 foarte rapid \u0219i, cel mai important, \u00een\u021belege ceea ce cite\u0219te.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
